Chilingarov discussed with Dmitry Karasev awarding Norilsk the title «City of Labor Valor»

The special representative of the President on international cooperation in the Arctic and Antarctic Artur Chilingarov met with the head of Norilsk Dmitry Karasev on the sidelines of the XXV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. At the meeting the initiative of the Council of Veterans of War and Labor to mark the contribution of city residents to the victory in the Great Patriotic War with an honorary title was discussed. 

The parties also touched upon a number of topical issues concerning the development of Norilsk and its scientific and socio-economic projects, which have also been discussed at several sessions of the SPIEF as successful examples of territorial implementation. The city is currently undergoing a large-scale renovation, which includes the construction of new-format infrastructure, in particular the Arctic Museum of Modern Art. 

Artur Chilingarov held a series of working meetings at the current forum, where the Arctic is traditionally regarded as the most important territory in all respects. ASPOL President discussed current and future Arctic projects with officials and businessmen, including representatives of foreign countries.
