Ministry of Eastern Development and HCDA announce Arctic Team competition
The Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic together with the Human Capital Development Agency in the Far East and the Arctic invite young people to join their team, which is aimed at the development of the Arctic territories. Those, who intend to get a job or an internship in the Ministry or HCDA, should take part in the Arctic Team open competition, which will last from June 1 to 21.
The terms of participation are very simple: young people from 18 to 35 years old inclusive can take part in it. It is held in two categories: for young people living in the Arctic zone of Russia, as well as for those, who live in non-Arctic regions.
“Such contest will be held for the first time. We want to find talented and motivated young people who will be able to become part of our team, take up positions or internship in the Agency, the Ministry of Development, development institutes or companies working in the Arctic zone. The key principles of the competition are openness and accessibility. We are waiting for the active participation of students, young employees of Arctic universities, of people, those for whom the development of the Arctic is a part of life and professional goals”, said Sergei Khovrat, General Director of HCDA.
If you want to take part in the contest, you need to register and submit an application on the Agency's website www.hcfe.ru in the Arctic Team section. Contestants are invited to prepare an essay “The Arctic is for me and I am for the Arctic”, which should reveal how they could be useful for the development of the Arctic, and create a video resume.
Applications for the contest are accepted until June 21, 2020 inclusive.
On June 25, 2020 the Selection Committee of the HCDA will openly summarize the results of the competition and announce the winners.
The number of the contest winners is not limited. Additional information can be found on the www.hcfe.ru website. Additionally, the winners will receive special gifts from the Center for Strategic Projects, which is a partner of the contest.
