Arctic: today and the future

HISTORY: 2018 - VIII INTERNATIONAL FORUM «ARCTIC: THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE»

Final Public Resolution

The annual public resolution is a universal mechanism for the development of public dialogue in the Arctic. The resolution systematically integrates the initiatives of all participants in the Arctic and allows to increase the involvement of the initiators in the implementation of proposals, to improve the targeting of these proposals and their focus on the results.

The decision on the regular issue of the annual final resolution on practical issues of social and economic development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and related infrastructure was adopted at the Congress (conference) of the Interregional Public Organization "Association of Polar Explorers" in 2012. The IPO "Association of Polar Explorers" as a guide of public inquiry assumes the mission of consolidating the public arctic agenda for system broadcasting to interested state authorities. The International Forum «Arctic: Today and the Future» has become the venue for the annual summing-up of the public agenda.

The resolution is intended for referral to the government authorities of Russia to improve public administration and regulation in the relevant sphere.
