The document deals with projects related to the Arctic research, climate change, space research, brain research and artificial intelligence.

«We didn’t feel any pressure. It’s favoured treatment by Russia, by the Russian government and by Presidential Administration», - RIA News quotes Sergeev.

The current agreement was signed in the year of the 60th anniversary of another agreement between the Russian Academy of Sciences and the US National Academy of Sciences.

«Our agreement survived the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Berlin Wall», - the head of the National Academy of Sciences Marsha McNatt said.  She added that it was stronger than political environment and that this agreement was the best example for cooperation between the two countries.
