Residents of the Arctic regions of Yakutia will be exempt from taxes
Residents of the Arctic regions of Yakutia will be exempt from taxes. It was announced by the head of the republic Aisen Nikolaev.
«I ordered to exempt the residents of the Arctic regions from transport tax for individuals, from property taxes for individuals and land tax for individuals. We will compensate the shortfall in revenues of municipal structures from the republican budget”, - he said.
According to the REGNUM, before Aisen Nikolaev declared that he intended to finance 10% of the cost of construction of a bridge across the Lena River, it was about 7-8 billion rubles. However, the financial situation in Yakutia is in such state that the government of the region was forced to increase the budget deficit of the region in 2019 to 10 billion. And it’s also not clear how much money ALROSA (the main company for Yakutia) will put in treasury this year. Its sales fell by 40%.
