Kashka was appointed general director of Atomflot

Kashka was appointed as General Director of Atomflot. Before, he was a First Deputy General Director, Chief Engineer. It was reported in the company’s press office.

As known, in the summer of 2018 Vyacheslav Ruksha, a former General Director of Atomflot, started working in Rosatom State Corporation. He headed the Northern Sea Route directorate there.

Mustafa Kashka was born on May 11, 1964. He graduated from Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University with «Operation of ship’s power plants» degree with qualification of engineer.   

In 1987, he was hired by the Murmansk Shipping Company as a master of Atom steam supply system of atomic group of ships. He worked on the atomic icebreakers such as “Arctic”, “Russia”, and “Siberia”. In 2003 he was appointed as Deputy Engineering Director of Nuclear Navy of the Murmansk Shipping Company Technical Operation Department of Nuclear Navy.

In 2007-2008 he was a chief engineer of the Northern Federal Enterprise for the Handling of Radioactive Waste.

Since 2008 – First Deputy General Director, Chief Engineer of Atomflot.
