Federal Agency for Fishery is going to modernize the berths in the port of Murmansk through the National Fish Resource Federal State Unitary Enterprise. It was reported by Deputy Head of the Department Vasily Sokolov.
Sokolov noted that action plan for the development of fish terminal in the Polar Region implied "the elimination of unnecessary administrative barriers and the creation of centers for the integrated service of fishing fleet vessels.
«At the moment they are working on the issue of financing the reconstruction of the moorings of the first cargo section, they are moorings from zero to eleventh», - Sokolov said.
According to him, now these moorings are in a limited working condition. It is planned to strengthen the mooring front with depths of 13-15 m.
«It is planned to receive deep-water berths with a total length of 540 m. As a result, a modern port terminal, aimed at the fishing industry, will be created», - Sokolov noted.
