HISTORY: 2017 - VII INTERNATIONAL FORUM «ARCTIC: THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE»

The annual public resolution is a universal mechanism for the development of public dialogue in the Arctic. The decision to issue regular annual final Resolution on practical issues of socio-economic development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and related infrastructure areas was made at the congress (conference) of Interregional public organization "Association of Polar Explorers" in 2012. As a guide of public inquiry IPO "Association of Polar Explorers" takes on the mission of consolidating public Arctic agenda for system broadcast to interested public authorities. The International Forum «Arctic: the Present and the Future» has become the venue for the annual taking stock of the public agenda.

The final resolution unites the proposals of forum participants, as well as the results of the work of traditional Arctic events, such as the All-Russian Forum of Ecological Tourism "Polyarnaya Zemlya" in Salekhard, the Murmansk International Business Week, and international industry events, including the International Forum of Technological Development "Technoprom" in Novosibirsk and conference on the economic development of the Arctic in the framework of the 20th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg.
