Section description
Strategy of Arctic zone development is aimed at modernization and development of infrastructure of Arctic transport system. It is necessary to determine promising modes of transport in Arctic to understand which infrastructure will be in demand in the years to come. In particular, ability of traffic arteries to replace each other is important condition of Arctic development. This gives advantages to hybrid cars. Foresight – session will let predict the future for planes and airships, ships of different purpose, snowmobiles and cross-country vehicles under the Arctic conditions.
