Section description
Arctic is one of the most promising directions of the internal and external tourism in Russia. Over the last years Russian authorities implemented a number of initiatives aimed at Arctic availability raising for Russian and foreign tourists. In the framework of the working session it is planned to discuss the most topical lines of Arctic tourism and present relevant projects.
Topics for discussion
- Development of Arctic tourism infrastructure;
- Perspective projects and tourist trails in the Arctic;
- Promotion of the Russian Arctic as prospective tourist destination;
- International cooperation for organization of Arctic tours.
