Section description

In June 2016 State Commission on Arctic development decided to develop “the Arctic State Standard”, which will allow producing goods conforming Arctic conditions. It is planned to create a net of special ranges where production will be tested. It will ensure higher rate of reliability and safety.
It is planned to discuss prospects of Arctic State Standards development, tests of new products and issues of industry modernization.

At the end of the session:

  • The signing of the roadmap of the project "Application of high-tech products, including innovative and import substitution production, enterprises of the industrial complex of the Omsk region in the structural subdivisions and affiliated companies of MMC Norilsk Nickel JSC and a priority list of equipment, technologies and developments between MMC Norilsk Nickel JSC and the Government of the Omsk region.;

Topics for discussion

  • The main directions of scientific and technological development in the Arctic;
  • Industry standards of technologies development;
  • Organization of ranges for tests of the Arctic techniques and materials;
  • Designing of new technologies for modernization of transport means and industry in the Arctic.
