Section description
Shipbuilding for the Arctic demands is one of the most dynamic directions of the field development: icebreakers, liquefied natural gas carriers, post vessels, catching trawlers are being constructed. Nowadays, an issue of shipbuilding forces usage in Archangelsk and Yakutia is currently important.
Construction of fleet for the Northern sea route navigation demands standards compliance concerning endurance and ecological properties of materials, high mobility, and ability to maneuver under the difficult ice conditions and high holding capacity.
